Background-
Jio and Canva have joined forces to give eligible Jio users free access to Canva’s premium design and AI-powered content tools. Depending on their recharge plans, users will receive Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite for up to 12 months starting September 16, with the benefit available through the MyJio app.
Users can claim the offer by opening the MyJio app and tapping the Canva banner to start using the platform. Canva Pro Lite includes premium templates, photos, videos and fonts, along with one-tap background removal, basic Brand Kit tools, print-ready exports, Magic Resize and Magic Eraser.
Canva Pro adds Content Planner, Canva AI’s chat-to-design feature and higher limits for advanced AI tools. The companies said the partnership will also make it easier for users to create content in Hindi and other Indian languages.
Reliance Industries Limited President Kiran Thomas said the collaboration places AI-powered design tools directly in the hands of millions of Indians through MyJio, supporting students, creators, entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Canva Co-Founder and COO Cliff Obrecht called India one of the company’s fastest-growing markets and described the Jio partnership as a major step in expanding Canva’s reach across the country.
