DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – Ambassador Laila Rahhal El Atfani, Founder of Woman Business Circle (WBC), is advancing breast cancer awareness, education, and survivor empowerment through Miss Pink, an initiative dedicated to supporting women affected by breast cancer and bringing communities together through compassion, knowledge, and solidarity.
Inspired by personal experience, including her family’s journey with cancer and her beloved mother’s battle, Ambassador Laila established Miss Pink to turn personal challenges into a broader mission of awareness and support. The initiative recognises that behind every diagnosis is a woman, a family, and a personal journey that deserves dignity, understanding, and encouragement.
Miss Pink aims to create a supportive environment where women feel heard, respected, and encouraged throughout their journey. By bringing together healthcare professionals, doctors, speakers, artists, business leaders, ambassadors, and community supporters, the initiative seeks to promote informed conversations about breast health and strengthen community involvement in awareness and education.
Advancing Awareness Through Education and Solidarity
Miss Pink focuses on four key pillars: awareness, education, solidarity, and empowerment and hope. These pillars guide its efforts to encourage conversations about breast health, connect communities with reliable educational information, support women and families affected by cancer, and celebrate courage and resilience.
Through its awareness efforts, the initiative encourages women to learn about breast health, understand the importance of screening, and seek professional medical advice. It also aims to connect communities with qualified healthcare professionals who can provide reliable information and guidance, helping women make informed decisions about their health.
Solidarity remains central to the mission. The initiative recognises the challenges experienced by women affected by breast cancer and the impact the disease can have on their families and caregivers. By encouraging community participation and sharing experiences, it seeks to foster a more compassionate environment in which women feel supported rather than isolated.
Through its previous initiatives and community gatherings, Miss Pink has brought together individuals from different professional and social backgrounds around a shared purpose. Doctors, speakers, artists, business leaders, ambassadors, and supporters have contributed to conversations and activities centred on awareness, encouragement, and collective responsibility.
Expanding the Awareness Campaign
Building on the foundation of its previous initiatives, the campaign is preparing its next chapter through broader awareness and educational efforts. The vision is to encourage meaningful collaboration with medical professionals, healthcare organisations, corporate partners, media representatives, artists, women leaders, and community organisations.
The planned campaign will focus on promoting breast health awareness, encouraging informed conversations about screening and early detection, sharing educational resources from qualified professionals, and creating opportunities for women and families to find encouragement and support.
Miss Pink also emphasises that breast cancer awareness should extend beyond a particular month or individual event. Sustained education, open conversations, and community participation are important to keeping the subject visible and encouraging women to seek appropriate medical guidance.
The initiative welcomes organisations, doctors, sponsors, volunteers, media partners, and individuals who share its vision to contribute to its mission. Through collaboration, it seeks to broaden the reach of its awareness efforts and encourage greater participation in programmes that support women and families affected by breast cancer.
A Message from Ambassador Laila Rahhal El Atfani
For Ambassador Laila Rahhal El Atfani, the initiative represents more than an awareness programme. It reflects a personal commitment to honouring women’s courage, remembering those who have been lost, and supporting families navigating the challenges of cancer.
“Miss Pink is more than an initiative. It is a message of love, courage, and solidarity.
Cancer has touched my own family, and that experience reminded me how important it is to stand beside one another during life’s most difficult moments.
I created Miss Pink to honour the women who are fighting, to remember those we have lost, to support families who carry this journey together, and to remind every woman that she deserves compassion, dignity, and hope.
We may not all be doctors, but each of us can contribute through awareness, education, kindness, and action.
My dream is for Miss Pink to become a continuing movement that brings people together, raises awareness, and transforms solidarity into meaningful impact.”
Through this vision, the founder encourages individuals and organisations to recognise the value of collective action. Sharing reliable information, supporting educational initiatives, and encouraging women and families can all help build a more informed and compassionate community.
As the initiative prepares to expand its awareness and educational efforts, its message remains focused on making breast health conversations more accessible, strengthening community support, and reminding women that they do not have to face their journeys alone.
Honouring Her Courage. Celebrating Her Strength. Inspiring Hope.
