You could say Torie was born into a party. With both her father and grandfather as jet boat racers, speed was in her blood—fast cars, fast boats, and a fast-paced lifestyle. Yet, growing up in the country provided the perfect balance, where adventure meant motorcycles, exploration, and embracing all that nature and sports had to offer. A harmony between speed, physicality, and tranquility shaped her from the very beginning.

The day she left her hometown for college, she made a promise to herself: One day, she would return—not just as an alumnus, but as a motivational speaker—to have the conversation with teenagers that she wished someone had once had with her.
Her entire life has felt like a force beyond her, a ride she had no control over, with each twist and turn serving as a lesson, preparing her for something unknown yet inevitable. A multilayered journey across various arenas—design, art, fashion, party facilitation, and now, Spirit Advisory—revealed an undeniable pattern woven throughout: depth, heart, friendship, and creativity.
The realization of this pattern became especially clear after writing STOP SELLING… when Torie understood that her natural way of operating, her personality, and her organic approach to life were the very things that had made her successful. Years of bartending had kept her deeply connected to people, their desires, and their energies. But the night Source frequency approached her? That wasn’t in her plans. There has always been a wild, untamed force within Torie Smith—a savage beast craving freedom, adventure, laughter, and play. Ironically, just as she was parting ways with a previous employer and feeling the weight of mainstream business burnout, the world came to a halt—the pandemic hit.
What should have been a period of uncertainty became one of deep reflection, a gift wrapped in stillness. The channels were crystal clear; the world was reprioritizing, shedding, cleansing what no longer served. But what truly captured her heart was watching humanity reconnect with its inner child—finding joy in simplicity, rediscovering the art of play, and nurturing relationships in ways that had long been forgotten.
During this time, Torie experienced the process of “dying” in this reality—not just metaphorically, but in an expansive, cosmic sense. She witnessed the Earth undergo purification, received clear articulation of the purpose behind the global transformation, and leaned fully into the trust and faith of the Universe. And in that surrender, abundance arrived right on time—bringing with it humility, perspective, gratitude, and deep innerstanding.

Born with a zoomed-out perspective and an inherently neutral disposition, Torie has always had the ability to see people’s competency, brilliance, and magnificence—organically, effortlessly. And because of that, she holds them to it. She isn’t a particularly serious person, but professional finesse runs through her veins. Above all, she genuinely cares about people and their happiness—a quality that has been a cornerstone of her success.
Her mother instilled in her a simple yet profound teaching: always look for the silver lining, always see how a situation is serving you, not happening to you, but for you.
Growing up, she was surrounded by highly competent and confident professionals, which shaped her into a bold, relentless force—but also left her without much perspective on the collective human experience. She was, in her own words, a steamroller.

Marriage and parenthood were never part of the plan. In fact, she never saw herself stepping into those roles at all. But experiencing both transformed her in ways nothing else could, shifting her perspective on love, connection, and the very essence of existence.
If she’s being honest, the fast life before motherhood was a blur—so much so that she barely remembers the milestones. She graduated college with honors, but it was only recently that her mother informed her she had also received the Dean’s Award—a detail lost somewhere in the speed of it all.
Awards, titles, certificates—they’ve never held much weight for her. To Torie, they are just objects, just paper, things that require dusting. She measures success differently. Her gauge? The feedback of her peers, the way people feel in her presence—whether they feel seen, heard, or valued.
