This personal transformation became a passionate mission when she looked at her children. “As a mother, I was determined to give them a foundation of wellness and provide them with the high-quality, nourishing food I believe is essential for a healthy life.”

In the very initial stages, when Divya was just sampling her first products, gave some of their curated nuts to a small group to taste. “The feedback we received was the true insight that shaped my entire direction.”

The responses weren’t just positive; she were filled with surprise. Divya recalls, “I heard comments like, ‘I had never eaten such fresh nuts before’ and ‘I didn’t know this is what she were supposed to taste like.”

This exact sentiment echoed when she sampled her teas. “She was told that from the very first sip, people knew she had found their new favourite tea.”

That was the moment.

Divya says she had realized the gap wasn’t just in the availability of these products, but in the experience of authentic quality. “What I considered a standard of freshness and flavor was, in fact, a rare luxury for many.” This overwhelming feedback became her core mission. It pushed DIVARUM’s direction from just selling products to becoming a dedicated curator, committed to delivering that “never eaten this before” experience across its entire collection.

The story of DIVARUM began in September 2025. In these very first few weeks, Divya shares their proudest and most reassuring milestones: “It came from the immediate external validation that our mission truly resonates.”

Divya elaborates. It’s one thing to believe in your “why,” but it’s another to see others connect with it so quickly.

“The first breakthrough was our feature in Femina magazine. For a brand as new as ours, to have an iconic publication like Femina see our story of “Intentional Wellness” and decide to feature us was an incredible affirmation. It was the first sign that our personal mission was becoming a public conversation.”

But what truly compounded this feeling, reassuring them that I’m on the right path, was the immediate, organic interest from influencers. Even in this very early stage, creators who genuinely align with their philosophy of wellness and quality began reaching out, wanting to collaborate with DIVARUM.

“This combination is our proudest milestone. It proves that our mission—fighting lifestyle diseases through high-quality, heritage-based rituals—is not just our passion, but a solution that people are actively seeking.”

From Vision to Execution

When asked about how, as a young startup, DIVARUM ensures that creative ideas move from vision to execution effectively, especially with limited early-stage resources, Divya remains honest as ever. For an early-stage company, this is the primary challenge. “For me, it’s not about doing everything at once; it’s about doing the right things perfectly.”

First, I focus on the core experience. Instead of a “Minimum Viable Product,” she focused on a “Minimum Valuable Product.” She identified the single most important part of their vision— “Delivering that ‘I’ve never tasted this before’ quality—and dedicated our resources to executing it flawlessly.”

Second, she use disciplined iteration. With limited resources, you can’t afford big mistakes. She works in short, structured cycles, embedding quality checks at every step, not just the end. This allows her to build, test, and refine without wasting time or money.

Finally, she use feedback as their guide. “I launched our core products to gather the most valuable resource of all: real-world customer feedback. I don’t just listen to it; I treat it as our guide for refinement, ensuring our limited resources are directed to what our community truly values.”

Agility—the Default Setting

These efforts are paying off. Also, as a young startup, agility is DIVARUM’s default setting, and Divya says she use it in three specific ways to serve their customers and stay ahead.

First, she have a direct, daily conversation with their community. “Use social media and customer emails as a genuine two-way dialogue. If our community is excited about a new wellness trend, we can immediately start the curation process.”

Second, she practice flexible and agile curation. “Our commitment is to our ‘Uncompromising Provenance’ principle, which gives us the freedom to seek out the best constantly. If we discover a new, small-batch farm producing an exceptional “Moonlit Calm” tea, we have the agility to vet them and bring them into our collection quickly.”

Finally, their lean structure means she can tell their story in real-time. When she see a new study on stress relief, she can create and deliver beautiful, on-brand content that connects that trend back to their mission, positioning DIVARUM as a timely, trusted authority on ‘Intentional Wellness.’

One crucial question in these early stages, according to Divya, is that of client engagement—to co-create strategies that truly represent the brand identity while introducing DIVARUM’s creative edge. Her response is, “That’s an excellent question, as it gets to the heart of our relationship with our community. For me, the ‘client’ is our customer—the ‘Modern Connoisseur’—and the ‘strategy’ we’re co-creating is their personal wellness journey.”

“First, I listen and listen. This brand is being shaped by our customers, not just for them. Our “spark” moment—the feedback on the nuts and teas—was an act of co-creation. She told us what she valued, and built “Uncompromising Provenance” principle around that. I continue this by asking them, “What part of your daily ritual is causing you stress?” Their answers directly influence the curation.”

“Second, we share our mission. Our “creative edge” is “Intentional Wellness.” We introduce this by sharing the “why” behind every item. I don’t just sell “Serene Slumber” (it’s a sleep inducing tea); I share the story of why those specific ingredients were chosen to promote rest.” This builds trust and transforms the conversation from a transaction to a shared mission.

They are the core of my inspiration, and their belief fueled this entire journey.”

As she built DIVARUM’s foundation, Divya looked for short-term success metrics and indicators to measure progress in client satisfaction, creative innovation, and brand awareness. She explains, “As we build foundation, we are far more focused on the quality of our progress than the quantity of our numbers. Our short-term metrics are about validation.”

For Customer Satisfaction, she look for proof that “spark” moment is repeatable. She meticulously read every review. The key metric is when a customer’s feedback mirrors the brand pillars—using words like “fresh,” “authentic,” or “calming” without being prompted. “I also track our early cohort repeat rate. When our first customers return, it’s the strongest metric I have,” reveals Divya.

For Brand Awareness, she measure resonance over reach. The key metrics are organic mentions, like their Femina feature, and inbound requests from aligned influencers. On social media, she ignore follower count and obsess over their engagement rate—the quality of the conversation.

Finally, for Creative Innovation, their #1 metric is their “Curated Pilot Launch” sell-through rate. “When a new, small-batch experiment sells out fast, it validates the idea with real revenue and tells us I’m on the right path.”

The biggest challenge of launching DIVARUM so far, according to Divya, has been communicating the ‘invisible quality’ through a digital screen.

First, she will scale curation, not just clog the warehouse. The “Uncompromising Provenance” principle is their non-negotiable filter. “I will only grow the collection as fast as we can personally vet and validate new products.” This means saying “no” to 99% of opportunities to say “yes” to the right 1%.

Second, she will systematize their story. As the team grows, every new employee, whether in customer service or operations, will be trained on their “why”—the founder’s health journey and their principles of ‘Intentional Wellness.’ “This embeds our creative edge into the culture.”

Finally, DIVARUM will use technology to amplify personalization. Divya says she will automate the simple tasks (like shipping updates) so her team can focus on the high-touch, human-centric ones, like writing personal-touch emails, offering helpful wellness advice, and building their community.
